Author Information: Ron Butler
Ron Butler is a Tucson-based writer who specializes in art, leisure and travel stories. In addition to contributing articles to such publications as Travel & Leisure, Travel-Holiday, and Ladies' Home Journal, Butler has authored several books, including Fodor's Railways of the World, The Best of the Old West, and Fodor's Guide to New Mexico. In a departure from his usual focus, he also wrote Esquire's Guide to Modern Etiquette. His latest book, Dancing Alone in Mexico will be published this fall by the University of Arizona Press. Butler, who began his career as a copywriter and promotion director for Esquire magazine, is the recipient of Mexico's La Pluma de Plata award for outstanding travel writing.
